Jaye Whitworth Art Things

Original fine art paintings, drawings, and semi-traditional landscapes. Often totally recycled pieces, assemblage and found objects incorporated into statements about living our everyday lives moment by moment, authentically and consciously. Many pieces are interactive and invite the viewer to play, move, or complete the artwork. Artist books and one-of-a-kind Art Things, wildly beautiful, and as my grandpa used to say, "things hard to come by".

I use drawing, painting and found objects to create constructions or assemblages that tell a story or make a place. Some of my works are interactive or offer space for completion. At other times, I try to provoke the poetic of the everyday, that which tends to get lost in the shuffle of today's global village life.
